Superman problem

Similar to a dues ex machina and power creep, it's a contrivance that gets seen a lot in anime and superhero media where you have a super ridiculously overpowered character who can pretty much destroy hordes of baddies and/or the main antagonist in one go if it came down to it, with nothing that can really put said character in any danger. Therefor it doesn't give other supporting characters much of a chance to shine and overcome any obstacles they personally face since it's done on easy mode just for having this overpowered character with them. Typically creates a lot of plot holes and make any stakes meaningless in the story if handled poorly.
How to solve a Superman problem? Write the character out for some reason in any given situation, or go complete DBZ and keep introducing a baddie who happens to be more powerful than the last baddie before him.

Feeling like Superman

usually when you are coked up, (it varies, depending on the person.) feeling very energetic & feel like you can do about anything.
"Dude after 5 lines, I was feeling like superman."

superannuated flatus

Synonym for old fart.
Too many university faculty members wind up being superannuated flatuses over time. It's pasture time for them.

Supermaning

The act of having sex while the woman holds onto the bedposts and sticks her legs straight out (but with distance between them) while the man hold her body straight out during penetration...resulting in the female being in a superman-flight position.
Bob: "Wow, your sister must work-out."
Tom: "Why do you say that?"
Bob: "We were SuperManing last night for thirty minutes before her legs gave out."
Tom: "Fuck you man."

superman effect

When youre unrecognizable without your glasses- undetermined facial features undetermined and ultimately 'unknown' only because you don't have your glasses on.

;Clark Kent was unrecognizable UNLESS he took his glasses off, only then did everyone know he was superman.
"My laptop's face id can't recognize me unless I take off my glasses..its like the superman effect".
