Holy Ghosted

When you thought your relationship with God was going well, but suddenly you can't feel the light of the Lord anymore and He stops answering your prayers.

I think I've been Holy Ghosted. Jesus isn't answering my prayers anymore.

Ghosted

A term used among women to describe when a man (or woman) they have been seeing for a while stops taking their calls and answering their texts. These actions are usually preceded by many a broken promise to "hang out" "have a drink or two" or "catch up" on the part of the Ghoster. The Ghostee is left wondering whether the person that was just inside of them two weeks ago is now alive or dead. Neither can be definitively proven.

I had been sleeping with Todd for about a year and a half before he Ghosted me. Even a "Fuck You" would have been better.

To be ignored, or not having anyone respond to your opinion and disregarding your remark, leaving you feeling insignificant. Mainly a term that is used on Facebook for trollers who wish to humiliate users when no one comments or likes their statuses.

A: "Oh my god, the weather is gorgeous today! Good morning everyone :)"

1. To leave a social event without saying good bye.
2. To say you'll be right back or step outside and not come back to the party.
3. To hang out and after not too long of a duration, the person is no where to be found.

Brian's hanging out with his co-workers at the bar and says he's going to step outside to grab a smoke. After sometime, his co-workers realize he never came back.

Co-workers reaction - That fool freakin' ghosted us again.
