The act of taking something very simple, such as an expression or anecdote, and then breaking it down, and/or proving it false due to a science that no one cares about.

-"Hey. Did you hear that?"

-"Actually, due to the speed sound travels at you only hear the past."

-"No you don't."

Going skiing, then bragging (photos of beers and the piste, etc.) to your colleagues in a dickish manner about how great it is. All the while, said colleagues are stuck in an office block in central London, picking up the slack Louis left.
