From Albanian: Signifies illegitimacy and inability. From "kot" which means lame, useless, or serving no purpose and "biskotë" which means cookie. For instance, A young child playing hide and seek with older siblings is kotabiskota, because they cannot actually play competitively. The purpose is to obscure the designation "kot" from the young child playing by rhyming it with "biskotë".
Shqip: Tregon paaftesi apo mungese legjitimiteti. Vjen nga fjalët kot dhe biskotë. Për shembull, një fëmijë i vogël që luan hapa-dollapa me vëllezërit dhe motrat e mëdhaja, shpallet kotabiskota sepse nuk mund të konkurojë me ta. Qëllimi është të fshehim cilësimin "kot" nga fëmija, duke e rimuar me fjalën "biskotë".
Mendohet se origjina ka qenë e këtillë:
"Lëre atë të voglin, se është kot"
"Si the?"
"Jo zemra vllait, biskotë biskotë"
"Po po"
"Biskotë pra, biskota, kotabiskota. Pse s'i ke qejf biskotat ti? Mirë si të duash".
