I identify as super straight. Rather than simply having a body type preference an keeping it to myself respectably, or even better, lettering attraction unfold not as a theoretical concern that can be sorted in advance but as a lived experience that unravels organically, I feel a compulsion to let the world know that I reject transgender people categorically, possibly because they represent a threat to my own insecurities about gender and sexuality, and because I cannot empathize with the thought that rallying around the rejection of a marginalized group might be hurtful.
