Guard

A guard doesn't change because someone is desperate to get themselves let in.
It was never going to be her shack and it was never going to be her guard, because there was no such thing as her going back in time and being originally from the city she was trying to claim as her own. She didn't even hold her own town sacred, but her town was her business. Nobody from the other town was changing the guard to her, giving her the key to anything, or letting her take theirs, as some people did hold their town sacred.

The National Guard

Yeah didn't anyone say anything about Donald Trump sending in the national guard before it happened? Like, the reporting on the protest and the guard happened at the same time.
Hym "I can think about whatever the fuck I want and you are going to get someone's kid murdered if someone doesn't stop you. The National Guard need to start hunting down the freaks doing this to me starting with the new MeidasTouch freaks put them in a gas chamber. And then work their way backwards down the list."

Old Guard

The people that saw you through the murky middle. You might not have known them in the beginning, they might not be there in the end, but they acted as the guards, the controls, that paid the light bill inside the tunnel and obscured the distant beam at end.

Guard Jocking

When someone is acting like a “guard” over something or someone — being overprotective, hovering too much, or policing like they in charge. Can also be used for someone who literally became a cop/security/CO, or when somebody’s being overly cautious about their stuff or themselves.
“You always guard jocking round her, that’s why she don’t mess with you.”

“He always guard jocking the crew, tryna control everything we do.”

“Homie supposed to be down, but he out here guard jocking the crew to them piggs.”

Old Guard

The Old Guard (known as the Consular Guard before Napoleon's coronation) was a part of Napoleon I's Imperial Guard and the most respected military foundation in the Grand Army. Famously, its members were equipped with bearksins hats and contained 2 regiments each of Foot Chasseurs and Grenadiers. They were usually kept in reserve as elite shock troops and rarely used unless to recover a dire situation or to deliver a decisive blow in battle.
