Preps are a group of people (including me) who usually shop at Abercrombie && Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle, Express && other stores. We're the people whoe everybody tends to hate. People tend to assume that we are stuck-up and know absolutely nothing about music;; let alone we only listen to that techno, right? Wrong.
I'm a prep. Sure; I'll give myself a label; whatever. But different people have different meanings for that label. I'm a prep. I listen to Taking Back Sunday; The Starting Line; Panic! At The Disco, The All-American Rejects. I've listened to The Used.
Sure, I may wear Abercombie clothes; but I wear them because I like them. I'm willing to pay $40 for a polo shirt; if I like that. Just because I wear the clothes doesn't mean I'm a bitch or I talk behind my friends backs.
I may be a prep; but I talk to the emo; the skaters; the goth; the jocks; the cheerleaders; the 'nerds or geeks or whatever'; I'm not above anybody. Some of my best friends are actually skaters.
Prep's get a bad name; one person does one wrong thing and we all are now bitches or stuck-up or snobby.

They buy clothes from the same stores: Lactoste, American Eagle, Hollister, Vistoria's Secret most of them dont even need to shop there because they have no boobs whatsoever. and Abercrombie. They won't go near Old Navy or Gap. Since they only shop at those stores, if you accidently but a shirt that a prep has, you are subject to being dissed. Its not our fault 1,000 PEOPLE SHOP AT THE SAME FREAKIN STORE, SO EVERYONE'S GOING TO HAVE THE SAME GODDMAN CLOTHES!
MAKEUP:
Usually wear tons and tons of makeup. Expensive brands, too. C'mon, dumbasses, you can look just as skanky without it.
RELATIONSHIPS:
It is abnormal for a prep relationship to last more then 1 week.
SOCIAL LIFE:
Preps enjoy parties, especially costume parties, since they can get the chance to dress like sluts. Pool parties are also fun for them, they can get the chance to practically go nude in public.
EDUCATION:

Get the prepmug. Well. For one thing, not all "preps" are conceited, snooty, or what ever you call them. But, some are. Some people think that "preps" are people who wear Hollister, A&F, or AE just to look "cool" and be in style. The truth is, just some people like that type of clothing. I do. But, I also support other companies like Hot Topic, and smaller companies. And, some people are right. Certain people who have parents with less paying jobs HATE stores like the ones I listed above. I get their point. But, it doesn't really make sense to make fun of something just to make YOURSELF feel better. That is just resorting to the ways of the actual people who ARE snooty, and shop at "preppy" stores. Oh, and btw: People who HATE Hollister, A&F, AE, and other stuff, please don't hate me. I'm just speaking... typing my mind. :P Thanks.
