Pot Trench

An area of roadway similar to a pot hole that is extremely hazardous . It is usually rectangular and varies in depth, and length. Most likely found in northern states especially NY. If a tire enters a pot trench it can cause severe damage to the tire or your vehicle.
I tried to change lanes but hit a pot trench in the middle of the road a blew a tire.

Trench Warfare

Trench warfare is fighting between two opposite sides with soldiers dug into ditches on either side with "No Man's Land" inbetween. It usually consists of soldiers, sometimes tanks, and usually artillery. One side would send wave after wave into No Man's Land untill they gave up or the opposing Trench was overrun. Trench warfare was first used in World War 1 and continued as a style of fighting for years to come.
