In a close race with Shit for being the most user friendly single word available to convey a thought or feeling. Depending on How Said and perhaps a facial expression. It may be possible to never utter another word in your life and never be misunderstood.
As a child some people would look at my father as though he were retarded as the only word he used was fuck; but then after getting over the shock of hearing such a foul curse word aloud, they, like us, understood WTF he was saying without even knowing the man.
