An effect often seen in books of the dystopian genre where the author inserts a slew of unfortunate, jarring events that leave the reader astonished and speechless, especially if a beloved character dies suddenly with little time to grieve.
In the book Mockingjay, from The Hunger Games Trilogy, the death of the character Finnick Odair shows The Hunger Games Effect in full force, where he dies so suddenly, it’s almost comical.

You start talking to a guy named Joey and his through his influence and ideas you become increasingly more sexual with your significant other
Connor: man me and my girl have been doing more sexual stuff since I started listening to what this Joey guy tells me
Hunter: yeah man, that's called the Joey effect. Look it up
Connor: woah, really? He has that much of an influence on hornyness?
Hunter: yeah, it happened to me too, lmao

The study effect occurs when everything seems interesting while you should be studying, but when you finish, it seems boring.
I was excited to play some Battlefield after I was finished studying, but when I finished, it seemed boring. It was a common case of the study effect.

When a video looks like it was created recently from the viewers perspective when compared to other media of present time but was actually produced with a larger time difference between it and the present. This is usually measured in the timescale of years. This is likely due to the specific area of discussion and the videos background which is used as our point of reference for determining its spot in the past not having a time specific aspect. These time specific examples we use involve trends such as fashion in relation to clothing and furniture which change often or trends in a media context which are included in the discussion involving an event occuring is their present time. In this case also the technology in cameras plays a role as from 2010 onwards camera quality improvements are not noticeable as we have reached a quality that exceeds the human eyes image quality. All these factors result in this effect as there is no telltale signs of the vidoes released date.
