A group of friends that don't really do work, they sit around and laugh at one another until a teacher/boss yells at them.

Phil: No, they're the sloth fam, they don't get anything done.

social sloth

A social sloth is a person or thing who ignores, or seemingly does not recognize obvious cues given by another participant in a social interaction due to being a bit shy, or concerned about speaking out of turn; one who avoids conversation entirely.

Boy: "What are your plans for this weekend"?
Girl: "I have no plans!"
Boy: "I'm going to a friend's going away party at Yards and that's it."
Girl: "That's so fun! Yeah I'll probably be doing nothing."
12 HOURS LATER
Boy: "What are your plans for the weekend?"
Girl: "OH nothing! No plans at all. Just laundry."
