Shed

1. To practice, especially a musical instrument or piece of music. From jazz slang. Metaphorically, "take one's axe to the woodshed."

2. To consume or engage with. Used primarily by musicians as an extension of the first definition.
1. I spent all morning shedding guitar.

That gig was rough, I definitely didn't shed those songs hard enough.

2. "Have you shed Parks and Rec?" "Not yet, I'm shedding The Office first."

At some point, almost every philosophy student sheds Plato.
