People who gather in small groups online, in Zoom calls, to get support and friendship. There is supervisor who helps them learn how to do the Zoom calls and is also there for each gathering. There is a commonality to the groups; in some cases everyone is a senior citizen. or maybe all female.
She wasn't sure how she'd like being on online meetings with people she had never met; but she kept working with the supervisor to learn how to do it. Would they like each other? After several meetings, she looked forward to her weekly meetings with them. They had bonded, and Online Zoomies seemed a fun & pleasant name for them.

The reasons are many, one being the realization that you are wasting away your life with it when you could be doing something productive. It could also be a sacrifice to the gods. Like an actual suicide, the departure may result in many people missing you and the shedding of tears. After having gone through with an online suicide, there is generally a sense of relief and freedom. Congratulations, you can now carry on with your real life! Sign and wonder awaits you.
Joe finally realized that his facebook-abuse was negatively affecting his life by encouraging procrastination, mindless scrolling of statuses and photos telling of people's worthless lives and finally decided that an online suicide was the only way out. Online Tag: When you have the same friend on 4 or more social networks, or instant messengers, and nearly miss them everytime. Usually this involves keeping the same browser window open, not opening tabs.
