The pet/ wannabe/ tryhard/ of the popular girl (rat) . She's always by the popular girl's side, and wants to be exactly like her.

Rat Pet's are really annoying and no one likes them. They are one of the most hated people in school. The popular girls dont like them either and just use them for random shit.

It is similar to the friend zone however instead of saying "you're just like a friend to me" the individual says "but you're just like a dog to me, or a cat, a bird, a fish, a hamster, etc.

Pet Sitter

A pet-sitter is a girl (or guy) who thinks he/she is a girlfriend/boyfriend to someone who is out of town hooking up with randoms knowing that his/her pet is in good hands.

Marcus went to Hawaii for work, leaving his 13 year old dog with his 'Pet Sitter'. Marcus was able to check in with said "pet-sitter" to ensure his dog's happiness, while still carousing around Hawaii trolling for a good time.
