To disappear from social functions, and media without notifying others. Going ghost is typically considered to be an odd way act.

Ghostface Killah

Ghostface Killah, is an American rapper and member of the Wu-Tang Clan. After the group achieved breakthrough success in the early- to mid-1990s, each member was free to pursue solo careers.
Ghostface Killah took his name from one of the characters in the 1979 kung fu film Mystery of Chessboxing.

It has been said that Ghostface Killah broke Mase's jaw after negative comments were made in the Clan's direction. Many have comfirmed it to be true, On Stark's album Supreme Clientle he raps, " Yo the champ punched Mase in his face over some bullshit The other night they kidnapped his brother pokin him with knives ." Also in Kanye West song "Through The Wire" this incident is referenced to when West raps, " If you could feel how my face felt, you would know how Mase felt."

Ghetto Mall

Any mall with a different mix of stores catering to a ghetto clientele. Also a poor representation of mainstream retailers.

Mall with a lot of athletic shoe stores, urban wear, dollar stores, wig shops, stores that don't exist in other malls, stores where you can see they were once a national store such as The Gap, but something else moved in and did not remodel much and have a banner sign over the Gap sign.

office ghost

An employee who maintains a position at a company despite the fact that all of his job duties have been reassigned to other employees. This could be by the ghost's own design or due to restructuring within the department.

Office Ghosts are particularly effective when they have a big title that comes with an assistant, and a boss in another location because no one is really sure what they do all day, but they still have the ability to step up and take credit once a project is completed.

Employee: I was looking for Michael. Have you seen him?
Assistant: I think he's in his office but I'm not sure since he always has the door closed. Let me check.
Assistant: No, he's not in there. He might be in a meeting.
Employee: He's like the office ghost. I can never find him when I need to talk with him. What does he do all day?
Assistant: Honestly I have no idea. You tell me when you figure it out and we'll both know.

ghetto fall-line

the border between bad neighborhoods/ghettos and suburbian/nicer areas of town. often divided by a river, highway, main road or commercial area.

on my side of the creek everyone lives in houses and nice apartments. across the creek to the next highway are all the ghettos and mexicans. i live on the ghetto fall-line

Ghost House

A house party with no one there. A party that one reaches at the end of the night and everyone is too blown out to interact well with one another (like ghosts.) An empty house. Any location that is creepy.
