One Man Eiffel Tower

Originating from the french "Eiffel Tower" and the act of "Eiffel Towering" a sexy bitch with your homie, the "one man eiffel tower" can only be described as a heroic act of bravery, leadership, and solo superiority. It is when the dude is lying on his back, wearing a strap on, with the girl straddling him and giving him head (on his real dick). He then procedes to have stick the strap on in the girls butt, while at the same time reaching both his feet and hands in the air, touching them together to form an old fashioned eiffel tower! (male body is ground, legs and arms are sides of tower, and girl is the bridge).

Me and my bro were eiffel towering this bitch, when he decided to pass out on me. Because I'm the man and I fear nothing, I took on the act of the one man eiffel tower. She didn't know what hit her.

plethora effect

The "plethora effect" is when kids use words in college application or SAT essays that sound good but they don't really know the meaning of. Sometimes they'll accidentally use thme as words that sound similar but have completely different meanings (for example, accidentally saying homeliness instead of homelessness) or sometimes they'll just be totally wrong. It was given the name a few years ago when someone decided that "plethora" was a 'good SAT word' and everyone started using it in college essays, much to the chagrin of the people who actually read the things. It's basically a result of kids prepping for the SAT and college process too much. (Starting SAT review books in middle school, taking tons of Princeton Review classes, etc.) Can sometimes be helped with the use of spellcheck.

Admissions person 1: "Look at this, this girl's essay is about how 'fragile and venerable' she was as a middle schooler, and how much she's grown."

Admissions person 2: "That's the plethora effect for you..."

Montrose Effect

The Montrose, Akron, Ohio variation of what happens when a Taco Bell or similar low grade chain restaurant appears on empty farmland, immediately followed by dozens of additional chain restaurants and poorly planned strip malls. The result is a traffic clusterfuck on top of a social black hole, on top of an environmental disaster, known in any other place as suburban sprawl.

In every city I visit, there is at least one stretch of highway full of big box stores and crappy chain restaurants--a sure sign that the Montrose Effect has taken place.

Matthew Effect

The Matthew Effect is a series of academically questionable actions preformed by a student in order to achieve a letter grade of a B or higher in his/her classes. Examples include, but are not limited to: Purposefully submitting corrupted files for grading, completing assignments weeks after the assigned due date, and outright forgetting the assignment in question even existed.

Friend 1: Hey, what grade did you get on the Chapter 23 notes?
Friend 2: I got an A, but I never turned them in.
