Like if you start a Europe-trip, starting in Amsterdam and not getting to another city or country, because you would rather be stoned all the time.

(In a video game) This refers to when you’re at a point where something has halted you and you are no longer making progression. This could be because of a hard boss fight that you can’t seem to get past or a puzzle that you just can’t figure out.
