no genres have been officially given to the band but i reffer to it as sludge metal. the members are

A very talented tho underestimated band often mocked and called "shitknot" wich pisses me off also many say theyre not all origional bull shit they have rotated members before their first actual album so the change doesnt count M.F.K.R. is just a fucking not even metal demo album basically non exsistant

A nü metal band comprising of NINE, yes NINE members. Why the hell would you need that many people in one band? There are so many noises going on, it just sounds like one screaming mess. They have two 'custom percussionists' aswell as a regular drummer and one of these 'custom percussionists just smacks some metal beer kegs with a baseball bat while thinking he has talent. Great bands such as Royal Blood, The White Stripes and The Black Keys only have two members each, and they're much better than Slipknot will ever be.

Slipknot has become a sellout and corey taylor thinks that only his opinions and political views matter. They have a lot of ''bu hu depression wahhh'' kind of shit and It's really annoying.
Even I was a huge maggot 4 years ago but then I realized what SK has become. Shit. Glad I became a different metalhead otherwise I would have caught earcancer.
