Text Camping is when you send someone a text an they respond with such speed it shows the response was sent before the original text. At times creepy.

While camping is most often used in FPS games, it is also used quite often in MMORPGs, such as WoW or FFXI to explain the act of holding ground on either a single spot or monster in hopes of claiming a rare item or something to that extent. Usually used by players desperate enough for a certain item, or by RMT.

Honest Player: 'I need that sword so bad.. I have no choice but to camp it.'

Caspering

Caspering is the friendly version of ghosting a person, referring to „Casper the friendly ghost“ While in ghosting a person would not respond to your messages or calls while still watching your stories, getting caspered instead means, the person will still frequently send you messages, like your posts and stories, but will be „too busy“ or too occupied to continue the level of contact you had. Caspers expect you to give up on reaching out to them, by simply fading out the contact. They don’t want to have the bad word of mouth that they’ve ghosted you or try to avoid having to tell you they’ve lost interest in your relationship/friendship

I thought we’ve had quite a connection but then he was caspering me bad.
