Commentsation

The act of having a whole conversation using comments. When two or more people feel it's necessary to use the comment section of a photo or video on Youtube, Facebook or otherwise social network instead of just calling one another or using a chat platform.

-That's a nice picture.
-Thank you! How are things Jason?
-Very well. I recently saw you on grandma's album of photographs kissing the dog.
-Oh yes I remember! How is she?
and so the commentsation continues.

Comment Buzz

When the comments written by the audience or readers are more interesting or humorous than the actual source itself, the only reason you remain in / return to the source is because it has a 'Comment Buzz'. This can be applied to almost any social networking site where viewers can express opinions such as youtube, facebook, twitter, etc.

1) Tim: Dude, you're watching Friday by Rebecca Black? What are you, like 12?
James: Man, chill, sometimes I come for the comment buzz.
Tim: Yeah, sure.

2) Wayne: Check out Alana's hot bikini selfie on Facebook.

Chad: .. Found it. It's not that hot. You can't really see her boobs.
Wayne: Scroll down and check out the comment buzz! There's an argument between her ex, her sister and her new boyfriend. I think her ex is threatening to release her nudes!
Chad: No way!

3) "I'm reading this story online that's pretty lame. Only reason I keep reading is because of the hilarious comment buzz on one of the ships."

Any technique used to raise ones comment count on any forum, blog, or comment section, that keeps records of and display individual comment counts. Most notable techniques are, trolling, spamming, or playing dumb to goat people.

Speaker two: don't lie you have at least 500.

Speaker one: I don't know what your talking about it only about 100.

Speaker two: dude its 500 check the counter

Speaker one: are you sure?

speaker two: Ok now you are just commentfarming

Comments disabled

A phrase seen at the bottom of videos to indicate that whoever created the video has truly fucked up.
Exceptions to this are if they were protesting the structural changes that happened to youtube in the past in which users were required to have a google+ account to post comments or if they were tired of people spamming their comments section with spam links.

I see the comments disabled. Now let's see what they fucked up
