friend third wheel

Like third wheeling a couple but so much worse because they're not actually in a relationship. You find yourself drifting apart from your best friend as they get a new bff even though they pretend you are still friends and try to keep up the pretence by inviting you with them sometimes. But even when you are with them you feel like they would be happier without you there. You wish your old bff friend would notice how you feel and you would become as good friends as you were before but inside you know that will never happen.

*you, your old bff friend and their new bff are walking together. There talking about plans for next weekend and what they did last weekend; neither of which you were are invited to* I feel like a friend third wheel right now.

Fisherman's Friend

An animal (e.g. cat) that is brought aboard a fishing vessel. During long, lonely voyages, the fishermen get horny and make sweet love to the animal. This is what make the animal a "fisherman's friend."

Fisherman #1:"That 3-week fishing trip was sure brutal. I can't wait to get home to the bar to hook up with the first girl I see!"

ex-best friend

An ex-best friend is someone who you used to talk to about anything and everything . she or he would always make you smile. you would laugh together, dance together, maybe even cry together. but one day either you or your best friend made a mistake that hurt each other. now your best friend isn't your best friend anymore. An ex-best friend will probably stop talking to you, even though both of you want to heal your relationship. you will look at old photos of good times and that will make you smile but then sadness washes over you because you lost them. if you have an ex-best friend, you should talk to them and maybe you will become friends again. true friends are rare, don't cry over the loss until you have tried your hardest to fix your relationship.

Hallway Hello Friend

Someone you know who isn't really your friend, but who you say hello to when you see them pass by. This term usually defines someone who you don't really know that well or who you don't really hang out with, but is someone who you would greet in passing.

Person 1: "Kelly Smith. Do you know her?"
Person 2: "Sorta. She was more of a hallway hello friend"
