A tired obsession is a phenomenon where a person who is undergoing sleep deprivation will stumble upon a point of interest, and develop either an inexplicable urge to learn more about it, or a feeling of emotional attachment to said point of interest. Under normal circumstances, these bonds will fade away gradually after a good night's sleep/
I thought I had found something interesting, but now that I've slept on it, I think it was just a tired obsession.

The inability to control ones urge to purchase Power Scrolls on Ultima Online Forever no matter how small the quantity.
Sniffles went 5 hours out of his way to buy 1 Powerscroll last night. That guy has major Spider food obsession. He isn’t even good at the game.
