"dinking" is used like "fucking" in some sentences such as "fucking around." However, it has more negative connotations.
Usually we would say "let's go fuck around at target" and it'd be super fun. But if I used "dinking" it'd be more bad.

You go from Diglett (which is Dig, as in you will dig in the future, lett means one) to Dugtrio (Dug as in you already dug a hole, trio as in 3).
