LOL is an abbreviation (or acronym) for the term ''Laugh Out Loud'' most commonly used in text messages but is used a lot in face to face conversation. A lot of celebrities like KSI and LazarBeam make me LOL.
People usually reply with ''LOL'' after they've been sent a meme. People more commonly spell it like ''lol'' so in all lower cases. Some other people text the Crying Laughing Emoji after 'LOL' or instead of 'LOL' they text just the Crying Laughing Emoji
