A fucking amazing band that existed from 2001-2013, their main albums include "I brought you my bullets, you brought me you love", "Three cheers for sweet revenge", "The black parade", and "Danger days: The true lives of the fabulous killjoys" During the black parade era, MCR referred to themselves as the black parade, which was supposed to be like a dead Sargent pepper's lonely hearts club band.

Get the My chemical romancemug. A band that used to be awesome, but then they put out the album "The Black Parade" and became horrible conformist pop idiots.
My Chemical Romance was good when I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge were out, then The Black Parade was released, and they became jackasses.

Get the My Chemical Romancemug. A 5 piece band from New Jersey. Hard to define genre, much like HIM, so they made their own (Death rock) which fits well. They aren't punk, and they aren't emo. These two genres and the MTV generation have just hijacked their concerts. Shouldn't be judged on just their singles, they're just the more catchy tunes. So many other songs (Cemetery Drive for example) are better, but wouldn't work as a single. The sort of band which gets too much stick from jealous posers. Quite close in sound to The Used, and very little like Green Day.
