The Dog Is Out

This is when largest and strongest person of a group gets to point of anger where they will end up hurting and or killing someone. The person saying this (The Tank) will most likely announce that horror and terror will be in the near future by screaming the phrase the dog is out. Usually, there will be some barker to imitate a dog that will occur from the person who has let the dog out (The Tank). One should hope to never have to see this happen.

What? Oh damn the dog is out now.

Etymology: Old Irish saying. Purportedly from hunting dogs who are worn out, sitting on the feet of their owner to take them home. Some say Irish Setter was named because of this phrase.

Earliest known occurrence was by famous Irish author, Maria Edgeworth in her political essay, "Essay on Irish Bulls"

A: Hijab is a culture for all our Iranian women and we should make sure everyone wears it at all times.

B: Shut up man, the dog fucked the ass-kisser.

In this example, person A was trying to support the forced hijab rule and cover it up by calling it culture.
