Sandusky Shoulder

Similar to the cold shoulder, this is when your friends, family or guardians ignore the blatant proverbial or literal butt raping that you are dealing with.

(The meaning comes from the blatant ignoring of former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky banging children)

Did you see Bill in there? He was getting a reaming but I didn't feel obligated to help so I gave him the ole' Sandusky Shoulder.

This old, creepy guy was going to town on me the other night, Jim walks in, and sure as hell he gives me the Sandusky Shoulder.

Next time Sarah gets herself in that situation its going to be the Sandusky Shoulder for her.

Chip on his Shoulder

This has gotten lost in all the false meanings. A chip on his shoulder comes from the days when there was a formal declaration for a fight, punch-up etc. When a person disagreed strongly with someone over a personal belief, they would place a chip of wood on their shoulder and dare the other to knock it off. Once the other person did this signaled the beginning of the fight and thus punches were thrown. Examples of this can be seen in old British movies circa 1930-1950's.

We use this idiom to say that someone has a deeply held feeling or conviction about something (whether it annoys them or that they won't listen to any other opinion about it) and thus if you disagree then they will vehemently challenge you.

He has a real chip on his shoulder about his size, I had a chip on my shoulder about immigrants until I moved to another country.

Pork Shoulder

A pork shoulder is more commonly known as a large seasoned roast typical of Hispanic cultures. However, internet subcultures have recently begun to use the phrase to describe a technique of sexual nature. Typically involving a man, his wife/girlfriend, and possibly her sister. The nature of the move is a mystery, but the humor involved and the dumb looks you will get are well worth it.

"So on the PD.com forums yesterday, I heard that LMNO gave his wife the pork shoulder!"

slopey shoulders

Means the opposite of "broad shouldered" (to act strong and confident and carry alot of burden/responsility in your stride). People (usually a manager) acquire this title by dodging work and/or making decisions and generally pass the buck onto a subordinate. This is done to avoid blame or to avoid doing a task that may be boring.

Officeworker 1: Dave the manager has just given me a pile of accounts to work on thats going to be externally audited!!

Officeworker 2: But he's more qualified than you to do it! Jeez that guy has got such slopey shoulders!
