Intelligence signaling

To broadcast or telegraph that you are more intelligent than you actually are by attempting to educate people and provide unsolicited advice under the guise of helping them.

Ties in well with virtue signaling as the goal is both to dominate by making yourself appear smarter and more virtuous in juxtaposition to the receiver or audience.

The intention (as well as virtue-signaling 'helpful' advice) is to self-level-up and often to make it seem like you have more knowledge in a given field. Since you often target someone more specialized or experienced than you are your advice is either common knowledge, making you appear like a douchebag in the eyes of the receiver, or it is made up bullshit.

My mistake was when Joe asked me how my marketing business was going and I said 'slow'. For the next hour he was intelligence signaling useless advice. The only thing I learned in that hour was how little he knows about marketing.

Average Intelligence

The average IQ is 100.

People who have this IQ commonly believe in ghosts, God, unproven herbal medicine, and are often superstitious.

People of this IQ mostly run the world, and are repsonsible for the fucked up state that it's in.

That guy must be of Average Intelligence: he's superstitious, he can't seem to think logically, his ability to reason seems non-existant, and he speaks some real crap.

Uneducated Example of Intelligence

A phase used by English MC Lady Sovereign to describe herself. One of many catchy self descritive phrases used by Sov. It is refering to the fact that she didn't finish school but shown an intelligence besides Math, History (all that school shit). She has used the phrase in the songs Public Warning and So Human and writen on one of her signature custom slogan T-shirts. A more well-known one is "The biggest midget in the game." That's been used in Many songs and also on a T-shirt. Personally I think Sov Rox!!!!!
