gordie howe hat trick

term used in hockey when a player has a goal, an assist, and a fight, all in one game. named for the former great Gordie 'Mr. Hockey' Howe, who could score goals, but also liked to fight.

"Last night, Jarome Iginla scored one goal, set up another, and beat the piss out of Alexander Ovechkin."

"That's a Gordie Howe hat trick."
