Bef is essentially the shortened way of saying the already shortened/abbreviated “cbf” which stands for “can’t be fucked” which just means you’re too tired/lazy to do anything. This term is also used when referring to a task or a social gathering you may have the energy to do but simply just don’t want to do/go. It can also be used when addressing someone directly as a way of expressing your annoyance of their presence.
