Turn-by-Turn navigation - when a GPS unit gives guidance along a route towards an end point. For GPS units on battery (like watches or bike computers) having TbT active or inactive it often is a considerable difference for how long the unit can record a hike / ride etc., and hence having TbT or "no TbT" can be found in forums when discussing battery life.

My older Garmin Edge with TbT would run out of battery after just 2 hours, but on the new unit I can go 3 times as long.
