The Sisters

Short for "The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence." The Sisters are a world-wide order of 21st Century, queer nuns who serve the LGBTQ and other marginalized communities. The members of the all-volunteer organization, after an extensive training process, take lifelong vows in service of the community. Namely, to promulgate universal joy, expiate stigmatic guilt, and the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment. They accomplish their vows in countless ways, but the most common are through progressive, social activism, street theater, and non-denominational ministry without judgement. the greatest book ever. the sequels to it are The Second Summer of the Sisterhood and Girls in Pants. they are amazing, and no books compare to them. some parts of the books are deep/sad and others are funny and lighthearted. once i read them i had a different view on life. the fourth book is coming out in summer 2006! i cant fucking wait!

A group of 2 straight girls and a gay guy. They have a secret handshake, and they recognise other possible future members of the The Sisterhood by their correct demonstration of the "Bend and Snap" (As seen in the popular movie "Legally Blond").

The Sisterhood are extremely bitchy by nature, and will shun out all others.

Althouhg they usually travel as a pack, a solitary Sister will become irritable, mopey and even more anti-social than usual until they are united with another Sister, an which point they will immeadiately fuck off to whereabouts unknown (possibly a secret hide out).

The Wifehood and Sisterhood always go together. is usually a group of friends are BEST FRIENDS FOREVER. This group usually consist of 4-5 girls who are AWESOME. They are not actually wives, it's just a saying! These girls will defend themselves no matter what. I mean, sisters before misters! They have group sleepovers all the time and have a blast. These girls each have a special personality. There is always the super-peppy girl, the sour girl (who is sweet on the inside!), the soon-to-be-famous girl, and the hilarious jokester girl. They are the coolest people EVER and will stick together no matter what. They have a ton of inside jokes and laugh about them all the time. To other people, these girls may seem SUPER WEIRD. It's just because they are the life of the party!

If you have A Wifehood or a Sisterhood THEN HOLD ON TO IT FOREVER!!! These girls are probablythe closest friends you will ever have, so be there for them forever.
