Used to ask someone for (or to return) a favor. Deriving from weed culture for when someone lets you smoke their weed with them for free, is now often used to ask for any kind of favor.

Bro, I’m fuckin broke until I get paid next Friday. Could you smoke me up on a couple beers tonight? I’ll for sure get you back next weekend.

A term used to describe the act of flooding the enemy with as much smoke as you have. The smoke comes from smoke grenades, and this term is used commonly on first person shooters.

The expression "What have you been doing, smoking the crack pipe?" led to "You need to back away from the crack pipe" led to "Don't worry about it, we'll just smoke something up to solve that problem."

"What are we going to do about the brand new project requirement that we just received?"

"Don't worry about it, the rest of the team and I will just smoke something up tonight and have it ready for testing tomorrow."
