One founder, Lou Barlow, was apparently kicked out of Dinosaur Jr. by J Mascis before forming Sebadoh with co-founder Eric Gaffney. Gaffney now fronts San Francisco trio "Fields of Gaffney". Jason Loewenstein was also a member in Sebadoh's hay-day.
Sebadoh fronted the indie rock movement of the early 90s. They wrote songs such as "Gimme Indie Rock", "Cry Sis", and "Three Times A Day".
