People who don’t listen to Kpop and/or have no idea what it is. Usually they think every group is BTS and all the members look exactly the same. Some locals try to accept Kpop as a music genre valid of appreciation by others even though they personally don’t enjoy it. However, some locals dis the genre without ever having listened to it. Only finding out later that they actually like it.

Peers or anyone around you that follow everyone. They have black and white checkered vans, or roll with the crowd. They get starbucks often, and have basic instagram captions that everyone uses. For example one can be "Summer should get a speeding ticket" and they would have on their CHECKERED VANS and have starbucks on a beach doing a pose with friends at sunset. They also have no personality and just seem bland.

Stephanie: "Did you see Angela's new Instagram post with Britanny?"
Monica:"Yeah, their such locals."

Term used by local assholes, especially at beaches, who show hostility towards anyone who is not from the specific area. Also common in coffee shops. Be prepared to receive nasty glares from the locals. You don't have to be a tourist or from out of state to experience this, you could live in the next town over. Local elitists love to ruin your fun.
