Halfway down the toaster is when you feel absolutely f*cking cooked or 'toasted'. Australian slang for hungover, depressed, tired, drunk, high, or just feel like shit.

Also known as a Foster Girlfriend. A halfway home hoe is a less committed foster girlfriend who is there for the sex, “dates”, and other main hoe duties without ever securing the main hoe spot. Once the person they are talking to find their “Main Hoe” the Halfway Home Hoe is forgotten.
