nano desu

Nothing, really. It's just a stock phrase. Japan has a few of them. It CAN be translated, literally, as "it is so".

Nano (なの) is a "sentence-ender", something that people use to give their words more life when talking. Generally, nano is used by females to beautify their sentences.
Some ships that use nano include Haruna and Iku (I-19).

Desu (です) is a more formal sentence-ender that can be used by anyone. Typically, statements will end with desu, although it is usually not needed and people will use other sentence-enders to fit the situation, such as a verb-masu.

kawaii desu

Literal translation from Japanese is "It's cute"

Some one gives you a teddy bear you say "Kawaii desu ne" - meaning "It's cute, isn't it?"

sou desu ka

Japanese for "Is that so?". Not really meant as a question, but more as an acknowledgement of what is being said.

Person 1: Kinou wa nihon ni ikimashita. (I went to japan yesterday.)
Person 2: Sou desu ka. (is that so? Meaning "Oh really, that's pretty damn cool yo.")

means 'i am a pervert' in japanese

say it to any non-japanese speaking person. it's a lovely excuse at times. 'i did it because watashi wa hentai desu.'

Sekon desu nattsu

A phrase used by horny Japanese men. It has an American counterpart called “Suck on deez nuts”.

Japanese men usually say this while teasing their waifus, in hopes that they do suck their nuts. Usually, if their waifu responds, the phrase is followed by another phrase, “sekkon yo nattsu”.

Koroshinsou: Bby girl wanna “sekon desu nattsu”?
Shineba: Ara ara, I sense a horny man. I’d be willing to “sekkon yo nattsu”.
