Noun, internet slang. Pejorative term for people on social media, primarily females, who are ‘content creators’ where the content:
1. Creates thirst by being provocative or erotic
2. Funnels followers to an OnlyFans channel (or similar subscription platform) for monetization.

Can also apply to non-internet interactions that follow a similar pattern; see exotic dancers.

Person A: Dude, I found your sister’s IG. Wow.
Person B: Yeah…she’s a thirst farmer. Mom doesn’t know she spends all day growing her OF subs.
Person A: Guess that’s one way to pay for college!
