The season around the end of the year where one puts off doing work related tasks and punts them into the start of the new year.

"Are they crazy?! It's punting season! We're not doing that project until AT LEAST April next year."

Punt-tard

A Puntard is a gambler who thinks he knows how to gamble/punt but couldn't pick a winner if it was a booger in his nose.
"Hey guys, throw a hundred on this horse, there's no way it can lose"

"Shut up you Punt-tard, it was the only horse in the race and still managed to lose"

Punt

A Petty Cunt = Punt.

- A person (usually female) who is displaying excessive cunt-like behavior over the most petty of circumstances.

A punt typically behaves cordially and rationally, but given the smallest inconvenience or imperfection will overreact beyond the definition of mere bitching.
- A perfectionist who will blow everything out of proportion and turn into a major cunt if unhappy about the smallest, least important detail.
1. Sally is usually very nice and likeable, but she's a neurotic perfectionist. She'll turn into a huge punt if the tiniest thing is not to her liking. She will make everyone's day a living hell over something insignificant.

2. Jane flung the dinner plate onto the floor, cursed at the waitress, and then marched into the restaurants kitchen screaming for the manager just because she had asked that no parsley be used to garnish her dish, and there it was.

punt

Taken from the sport of football, punting is a passive-aggressive way of delaying an action or an inevitable result. When someone punts, it's usually because they are faced with an uncomfortable situation where they are afraid to give a clear answer, response, or explanation to avoid judgment, ridicule, or scorn.
"I asked Tony if he wanted to hang out, shoot some pool and get a couple of brews. Instead of telling me directly that he really didn't want to go, he punted, saying he needed to ask his wife first. Tony wanted to avoid the uncomfortable situation of possibly hurting my feelings, so he made his wife the scapegoat, because everyone knows what a selfish, possessive bitch she is."
