To provide medication you must use utensils (example Needle and thread) to medicate the symptoms as they will have a medicative effect allowing you to perform medication.

Medication originally was something that you had to perform.

Just simply calling for healing/ healing item. Used most in TF2, especially easy because the "MEDIC!" button is E, which is easy to reach (for whoever pay 5$ to chat) (Note: Too many people calling for medic can cause medical teammate to ragequit)

Medic dumping

When you are promised a double medic truck and at the last moment the other medic calls off or leaves so the medic is dumped. Typically left with a driver.

I got medic dumped so I am now by myself for 24 hours. I am no longer dual medic and just a single medic ambulance.

Medic dumping is when a dual medic loses one medic. Usually to go fishing.
