capitalism

An often maligned system that was endorsed by Philosophes of the Enlightenment and again by the Social Gospel of the Industrialist Period during the late 19th century. A system that rewards those who work hard and use their talents to the fullest extent, now has been confused and distorted into a systematic operation of oppression and greed, called "corporatism". Can actually be mixed with socialism to create a utopian society if managed properly, a system we almost achieved under Clinton but was trashed by Dubya.
Capitalism is actually a system built for a democratic society by the definition of Enlightened Philosophers, but Corporatism has distorted the meaning of capitalism horribly.

Australian Capital Territory

Contains Canberra, Australia's Capital City.
Also known as the fireworks and porn capital of Australia
Notoriously political place. Exciting for people between the ages of 35-90+
Located between Sydney and Melbourne where anyone under the age of 35 goes to when they have free time to avoid spending time in the ACT.
I just spent a few days down in Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory. It's the only City in Australia where you can buy both Porn and Fireworks. Those are two things you never EVER want to get mixed up. We're talking serious testical burn

capitalism is a death cult!

An increasingly popular saying on the lips of wise and astute Americans right now.
We are in a donut hole my dear, we pay insanely high income taxes, our wages have stagnated since the 1970s, having private health insurance sucks and covers only a small percentage of the fees charged, rent has skyrocketed everywhere and so we are never going to be able to save a dime; this is why capitalism is a death cult!

Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (MvC3)

After ten long years of waiting, Capcom gives this sequel, available on PS3 and Xbox 360. Semi-popular because it has many new characters but so many popular characters from its predecessors cut out.

New 3-D graphics with classic 3-on-3 fighting system like MvC2, with inky shading and cross-hatching effects to look like a living comic book. Also uses a TvC-Style control scheme with a button for light, one for medium, and one for heavy attacks along with one universal launcher button. You can tap the assist button to call for the assigned character (Partner 1 or P1 and Partner 2 or P2 respectively) and hold down either button to switch out. A new feature added is X-Factor, which really comes in handy, restores your health with additional attack and speed boost. The final boss on this one is Galactus who plans on devouring the two worlds of Marvel and Capcom for nourishment. You'll fight two boss villains picked at random first, then you fight Galactus, and he takes up the whole right side of the screen.

Otherwise, this game is great, and if you're waiting for more DLC characters, have faith, and take every MvC3-related announcement with a grain of salt.
Guy 1: Duuuuude. I just picked up Marvel vs. Capcom 3 today. It's totally awesome with new graphics and stuff. Wanna come over and play?

Guy 2: Yeah, man I'll be there soon!

Guy 1: Are you ready....to continue the saga?

Guy 2: Oh yeah, I'm pumped!

Guy 2: (A veteran MvC player looks at character roster with all named 38 characters in it) Man, where's Venom? and Strider Hiryu? and........NO MEGA MAN!? Come on! What a ripoff! OH YEAH, let Magneto, Storm, and Sentinel back in, but.........OMG! There's AMATERASU! and VIEWTIFUL JOE! and DEADPOOL! YESSSS! THAT'S A WIN! WOW! EVEN ZERO AND DANTE ARE HERE!

Guy 1: Glad to see you like the new set of characters. Don't worry the characters you named might get released as DLC.

Guy 2: Yeah, like that'll happen anytime soon. Well, I don't really care anymore, let's just play.

Guy 1: (Down to last character, activates X-Factor which is at this point level 3 and wins the match) I knew I'd win with that.

Guy 2: This feature was TOTALLY needed on MvC2 especially with all the balance issues it had. You had to be really good to do that back then.

Guy 1: Yeah, no foolin'.

Capitalism

Capitalism is the refinement of all the ills of the free market -- such as the "bottom line" being more important than people, the emphasis on using money as the basis for measuring values, and the constant need for more and more that drives the system.

Capitalism is an inhuman force that pushes millions into poverty. It is a force that leads a small group of extremely powerful men to dominate the majority. In the quest for power, the capitalist not only rapes and pillages a few small villages and towns. The capitalist rapes entire markets and nations. This creates resentment for the wealthy. Because of this, the capitalist resents the majority in return, and fears them, too. Capitalists use their resources to isolate and protect themselves from the ever-increasing amount of victims tha they leave behind; they spend more and more on body guards and security to protect themselves from both real and imagined threats.

A capitalist society is a society ruled by money. The poor, which do not have access to the capital, are bantied about by economic forces. They are unwitting stooges, devoid of free will and hope. Capitalism is a society where an extremely small group of people live in unimaginable luxury and elegance while the rest of the world wallows in environmental degradation and increasing squalor. It is a society where the rich and powerful get richer and more powerful. It is a system where the ruling elite use their insider connections to grind the rest of the world under its heels. It is a world of monopoly, insider trading, financial scams and outright theft. Capitalism is an imbalanced mechanism for distributing power where the rich get richer and the poor to get poorer. The Wealthy capitalists use the government to do their bidding, whether they are stealing property from the less powerful by having the government take it over by imminant domain, and handing it over to themselves, or using our military to overthrow a poor nation that uninvites their industries in favor of local businesses.

Capitalism leaves, in it's wake, shattered lives, iniquity, and an uncaring attitude towards people.

capitalism

Capitalism is a system of economics where you invest 'capital' into ventures and get money (more than your investment) if it succeeds. It is a system that rewards people with ideas. People who spew the whole: rich get richer, poor get poorer are slightly off. If you have an idea, you can get rich. In other systems, like communism or socialism, you have no way to improve your lot in life, but with capitalism, you at least have a chance
capitalism doesn't exist only to feed fat greedy wealthy white men.
