The Queen Elizabeth is a popular dance move that people of all ages are doing. This dance involves putting your left arm a 90 degree angle leanings the back side of your hand down at your left hip. Subsequently, your right hand is making a tall "c" shape as you twist it back and forth while moving your whole right arm left and right (similar to how Queen Elizabeth waves). While all this is going on you are required to bounce/sway to the music. All of these motions are called "the Queen Elizabeth". It has been trending around the Midwest and even the south in popular spring break locations. Additionally, it has been becoming exponentially popular in Eastern European night clubs.

Queen did not even exist until 1970. Then the band was still called Smile (this group was founded in 1968) and Freddie Mercury was not there yet. Then the foreman of Smile left, and Freddie was allowed to take his place. The band was called Queen.

With the fourth album 'A night at the opera' they became truly world famous. Not only by the album, but also by the song 'Bohemian Rhapsody' from 1975. This song was chosen as the best song in the whole world. A lot of albums followed, but then ...
AIDS.
Freddie Mercury, the singer, found out that he had the disease AIDS. You can not cure it, so for Freddie it was already clear: He died. But because of his enormous will, he could go even further, until 1991. November 24 he died. Only one day before, on November 23, Freddy had announced on TV that he had AIDS. A day later he was already dead.
NO MERCURY.
Queen is now under the name Queen + Paul Rodgers and released their new album a few years ago: The Cosmos Rocks. Queen also released the album Made in Heaven in 1995, with some recordings of Freddy Mercury that were made just before his death
