A civilization that has achieved complete mastery over all the energy resources of its home planet. This means harnessing all incoming solar radiation, geothermal heat, tidal forces, and atmospheric processes, effectively controlling the global climate and weather. Energy is abundant, post-scarcity begins, and the civilization becomes a unified, planetary entity, likely with a single government or no government at all.
Kardashev Type 1.0 Planetary Civilizations Example: A Type 1.0 civilization on Earth would have vast orbital solar arrays, geothermal taps into the mantle, weather control to prevent disasters, and cities powered by ambient energy harvesting. Think Star Trek's Earth: no poverty, climate is managed, and all energy needs are met cleanly.

Jay Jay the Jet Plane

A goddamn creepy kids’ show about planes, fire trucks, tow trucks and helicopters having faces on them living in the fictional county of Tarrytown. Each episode has them solving problems and learning Bible lessons (only on the TLC/Smile/Qubo broadcasts; and on the Yippee streaming service). Later, in 2001, PBS picked up the show without the Bible lessons being learned.
Man, I really used to watch Jay Jay the Jet Plane in my childhood. Not as bad as Thomas though.

Ping-pong Player Fallacy

An ad hominem version that attacks the debater personally, labeling them as someone who only argues for the sake of conflict or "playing the game." It pathologizes the act of disagreement, painting the person as a compulsive "player" addicted to rhetorical combat rather than truth-seeking. This fallacy dismisses all their points by attacking their purported motivation for engaging at all.
Example: "Don't bother with him, he's not actually interested in solutions. He's a classic ping-pong player fallacy—he just likes the sound of his own voice and watching people react. Any reply you give is just another serve for him." This disqualifies the person from being heard by assigning them a malicious, sport-like intent.
