This is a term to refer to someone who is completely nuts, ditzy, and has no real sense of reality. Whether they are mentally ill or not, this is the term to use!

The term carries weight for two reasons. 1.) The resemblance to the word Dick, and 2.) How intense Mike Ditka is in real life.
