A reference to both their youth and the common hairstyles in the emo aesthetic that utilize long, swooping bangs.
Originated out of the Goth term for young Goths 'Baby-Bat'.
Carries less of a derogatory connotation although can be used as an insult.
First used by middle-to-older 'Millennials' to refer to the fans from 'Generation Z' and younger.

Get the bangmug. A common practice to clear a malfunction during shooting. Consists of Tapping the magazine to make sure it's properly seated, Racking the slide or bolt to eject the malfunctioned round and chamber a new one, and Bang signifies that you've cleared your malfunction.
My pistol keeps failing to extract during drills, so I use the Tap, Rack, Bang method to get it working again
