Get the Super Straightmug. “Super straight” is a fake sexuality founded by a man who didn’t wanna be called transphobic for not wanting to date people of the opposite gender that are also trans. These people will only date the opposite gender if they are cis. So basically if you’re a trans woman and you like a man who says he’s “super straight”, he won’t date you because you’re not cis, and vice versa. The term and flag was created on 4chan to deliberately attempt spread Nazi imagery (SS) as a way of alt-right recruitment as well as drive a wedge between trans people and the rest of the community. The term was later spread on by kyleroyce on TikTok, and was quickly adopted by TERF’s and other transphobes to spread dehumanising statements and exclusionary/transphobic ideologies.
The name “super straight” also makes it seem as though heterosexual attraction to transgender individuals makes one “somewhat gay” as if being a “true straight” cannot include transgender people. It is also unneeded, as having a preference for cisgender people does not require a label.
