BIGBACKATRY big-bak-uh-tree (noun)

1. The act of excessive, unnecessary consumption of food, particularly when one is already full; gluttonous behavior often characterized by the phrase, “I’ll just have a little more.”

Etymology:
Derived from the slang “big back” (a reference to having a robust appetite or physique) combined with “gluttony,” originating in the early 2020s among Gen Z social circles.

Example:
“After the third round of wings, DeShawn’s bigbackatry was on full display, leaving no drumstick untouched.”

First Known Use:
2022, when someone tried to explain why they needed an extra side of fries with their burger.

Synonyms: overindulgence, snack hoarding, plate packing

A "Bigback" is a person that eats large amounts of food in one sitting, while eating large amounts of food, people call it "Bigbacking". This term is often used with friends, but it can sound offencive if you call a stranger a "Bigback".
