West Laf

Slang name for the town of West Lafayette, Indiana. Purdue University is the main attraction of this top-notch college town, but there is a great bunch of country folk that are great at making visitors feel at home.

Bill: What city is Purdue in? I can't remember the name but I'll tell you I had a damn good time there.

Chase: It's in West Laf. One hell of a city.

An adjective derived from the famous rapper Kanye West. It is used to describe something or someone who is either crazy, nuts, clinicly insane or cool. It use started circulating after Taylor swift was verbally attacked for winning a VMA. The phrase is commonly used in west central Scotland, Australia and by the Bhutanese royal family.

West Ashley

A suburb of Charleston, locally referred to as West Trashly due to the large number of strip malls, car dealerships, rundown homes. low rent bars and interconnected nondescript neighborhoods.

We headed to Gene's Haufbrau in West Ashley for some cheap suds.
