An idiom used to describe the moment of downturn for a previously successful enterprise/musician/actor etc. A clear, defining point which, when reached, means nothing will be the same again.
Similar to 'Jumping the Shark' or 'Nuking the Fridge'.

When someone insults you or could do, based on appearance or attitude, but by making a comment back you've "played in to it."
For example when a midget dresses up as a Oompa Loompa, they are playing in to their appearance, by making it into a joke.
Person 1: Yo man did you see the small guy?
Person 2: Yeah man, he knows how to play in to it.
Person 1: Yo man did you see the small guy?
Person 2: Yeah man, he knows how to play in to it.
