u+3164 or is a character which is used to make a invisible character without spaces because most of the websites that need to sign up (not google signing up automatically) need a last name and you don't want that, right? Most people would say put nothing there if its optional but most of the time it wont work because it will read something in red text saying something related to "Add your last name". But if you try to put spaces in the last name because its the most common blank character but it probably won't work because it will detect the spaces in the last name, So if you put the u+3164 or character it will be valid because most don't realize that the character does not exist in their "no characters zone" so it thinks that the character is a letter and it will allow it like its a letter ex: a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z.
